STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: MONACO PROVIDES ASSISTANCE
This joint initiative launched by SheCanHeCan and Femmes Leaders Mondiales Monaco (FLMM) aims to inform at-risk people, stakeholders and the general population about the options available for victims of domestic violence in Monaco.
Monaco has always been proactive in providing assistance and the aim of this website is to be a resource-center and to centralize all relevant information so that people experiencing violence can receive assistance as quickly as possible and tailored to their needs.

Domestic violence laws in Monaco
Domestic violence is punishable under Monaco law. In June 2011, the Conseil National adopted a law (loi 1382) which strongly condemns such violence and ensures punishment for perpetrators of domestic violence. The law covers married individuals but also couples living together without being married.
Monaco has a network to support individuals confronted to domestic violence: the police, social services, family mediator and social workers are there to assist you.
